Quick Start: Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education
About Quick Start

Designed by industry-training professionals, the Certified Manufacturing Specialist program (CMS) provides the practical, up-to-date skills a manufacturing team needs -- from precision measurement and critical thinking to computer technology and plant safety, along with interpersonal skills such as decision-making and managing change.

For qualified applicants, the HOPE Grant can be used to help pay the tuition for the program, and it also provides a stipend for books. Graduates earn a Technical Certificate of Credit from their local technical college.
