Protecting the Future: TenCate Protective Fabrics Expands

Project Summary: In October, TenCate Protective Fabrics USA celebrated a partnership with Georgia Quick Start and West Georgia Technical College.

By providing customized training, Georgia Quick Start committed its support to TenCate’s $5 million investment in new technology, such as new carding and air-jet spinning machines. These advancements help test and produce TenCate’s high-quality protective materials, supplied then to military personnel, firefighters and commercial industries.

James Floyd, Plant Manager of TenCate, praised the success of working with Quick Start, “looking forward to their expert training support for this new expansion.”

“We’re always proud to support growing industries in Georgia,” said Jackie Rohosky, head of Quick Start, “and it's a humbling honor when we know we're assisting in the production of materials that help save the lives of the men and women of our armed services and first-responders.”
